My "Why"
For more than 20 years, LaTasha has mentored and guided youth from diverse backgrounds. During this time, she began to notice a pattern—many young people were being measured against the same expectations and outcomes, even though they were starting from very different places.
She realized that many youth lacked neither ability nor ambition. What they often lacked was exposure, guidance, and practical tools to help them evaluate their choices and navigate real-life situations.
That realization became the foundation for her work.
LaTasha created Divine Destinies to help young people expand their thinking, recognize their potential, and develop the life skills needed to confidently pursue their goals.

At the heart of LaTasha’s work is a commitment to helping youth see possibilities they may not have imagined for themselves.
Through partnerships with schools, organizations, churches, and community programs, she works to ensure that young people gain not only knowledge but also confidence, perspective, and the ability to make thoughtful decisions about their future.
